Welcome to WOGO! By using our platform, you agree to the following terms and policies. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any transaction.

1. Introduction

WOGO (“Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace connecting vehicle owners (“Hosts”) with renters (“Guests”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, mobile app, and services.

By accessing or using WOGO, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.


2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 21 years old (or the minimum legal driving age in your location) to use WOGO.
  • Guests must have a valid driver’s license (U.S. or international with passport) and meet WOGO’s eligibility criteria.
  • Hosts must provide vehicle details, ensure proper registration, and maintain appropriate insurance.
  • WOGO reserves the right to verify user identity and decline or suspend accounts if necessary.

3. Booking & Payment Policies

3.1 Pricing & Fees

  • Guests will be charged based on the selected rental period (daily, weekly, or monthly pricing with applicable discounts).
  • Payments can be made via full payment, partial payment, or deposit-based payment options.

3.2 Payment Processing

  • WOGO securely holds all funds until the rental trip is completed.
  • Upon successful return of the vehicle, payments are automatically transferred to the Host.

3.3 Security Deposits & Pre-Authorization

  • WOGO may pre-authorize credit cards to cover potential damages or rental issues.
  • If damages occur, WOGO reserves the right to charge the Guest’s payment method.

4. Vehicle Use & Responsibilities

4.1 Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must return the vehicle on time, in the same condition, and with the agreed fuel level.
  • Any damages, traffic violations, or late returns may result in additional charges.
  • Guests must comply with all local traffic laws and insurance requirements.
  • Wogo recommends that guests purchase their own rental car insurance, including but not limited to Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Liability Insurance, and Medical/Personal Injury Protection. If guests choose not to purchase insurance, they assume full responsibility for all liabilities.

4.2 Host Responsibilities

  • Hosts must ensure vehicles are safe, well-maintained, and legally registered.
  • Vehicles must be provided clean and with a full tank of fuel (unless otherwise specified).

5. Insurance & Liability

  • WOGO provides optional insurance coverage for Hosts and Guests.
  • Hosts must maintain their own insurance, which remains primary in case of accidents.

Guests are liable for damages if they violate WOGO’s Terms, insurance policies, or local laws.


6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Guest-Initiated Cancellations:
    • Free cancellation within 24 hours of booking a trip, excluding the 24 hours ahead of starting a trip.
    • After 24 hours of a booked trip, a cancellation fee will apply.
  • Host-Initiated Cancellations:
    • Frequent cancellations may result in penalties or suspension.
  • Refunds:

Refunds are issued based on WOGO’s cancellation policy, subject to processing fees.


7. Prohibited Activities

  • No subleasing or unauthorized third-party rentals.
  • No illegal, reckless, or off-road driving.
  • No smoking, pets, or modifications to the vehicle without the Host’s permission.
  • Any violation may lead to fines, account suspension, or permanent removal from WOGO.
  • Renters are responsible for all traffic violations, including but not limited to:
    Speeding tickets – Full payment of fine + administrative fee ($50).
    Parking violations – Full payment of fine + administrative fee ($50).
    Toll violations – Full toll amount + administrative fee ($25).
    DUI/DWI (Driving under the influence) – Immediate ban from WOGO + potential legal action.
    Reckless driving (e.g., racing, excessive speeding, dangerous maneuvers) – Fine up to $500 + suspension from WOGO.
    Failure to return the vehicle on time – Late return fees apply (calculated hourly).
  • All penalties will be charged directly to the renter’s linked payment method. Unpaid fines may result in legal action or collections.

8. Account Violations & Bans

  • WOGO reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts involved in:
    Repeated traffic violations or reckless driving
    Fraudulent bookings or identity misrepresentation
    Failure to pay fines, tolls, or additional fees

9. Dispute Resolution & Claims

  • Any disputes must be reported to WOGO within 24 hours of the rental ending.
  • WOGO will mediate claims, but legal action may be required for unresolved disputes.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

  • WOGO collects and processes user data according to our Privacy Policy.
  • User information is protected and not shared with third parties except as required by law.

11. Modifications & Termination

  • WOGO reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.Our terms are subject to change at any time, and we reserve the right to the final interpretation.
  • Users will be notified of significant changes before they take effect.
  • WOGO may terminate or suspend any account violating these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Contact Information

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles..
